10/20/2012– Reston, Virginia, United States – Supreme Group, a market leader specializing in customized supply chain and associated service solutions in some of the world’s most challenging and remote locations, has signed a US$ 96 million contract with the US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for the first ever Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) program in Panama. The contract, which has a tenor of 5.5 years, is for the delivery of food in support of US troops in Panama, and US Navy Forces and US Coast Guard ships operating in the area.
Robert T. Dail, Lieutenant General USA (retired) President of Supreme Group USA said, “We are delighted by the news of this award as it reinforces DLA’s confidence in our Group as a trusted partner. Supreme has been supporting US Forces since 1957 and has existing experience and infrastructure in the Americas, which will contribute to the successful delivery of the terms of the contract.
“We have supported, or continue to support, military operations in Belize, the Ascension Islands and the Falkland Islands and are confident we will continue to deliver the highest levels of service to DLA and the US Forces in Central and South America.”
