DLA-E Awards Supreme Group $550M Fuel Supply & Storage Contract

USD 550 million, is for the delivery of Jet Fuel, Diesel and Motor Gasoline to ten US Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) and one Defense Fuel Supply Point (DFSP) in Afghanistan. The contract is expected to commence on October 01, 2013.

“We are very happy to have been awarded this contract by DLA, which is a reflection of the customer’s confidence in our proven ability to support the U.S. troops in Afghanistan,” said Michael Schuster, Managing Director – Operations, Supreme Group. “Supreme’s well-established Northern Distribution Network (NDN) will be used in conjunction with the Pakistan supply route to furnish the required volumes on a monthly basis.”

Supreme Group Extends Support for Military Charities During DSEI

September 18, 2013, London, UK: Supreme Group has made a donation totalling £12,500 to its charity partners SSAFA and Combat Stress during the DSEI exhibition at ExCeL London.

“We are proud to support the service men, women and families of the British Armed Forces, both on the front lines and at home. Our donation goes towards funding essential services that are important lifelines for people with physical, emotional or psychological wounds,” said Major General Jeff Mason (Ret), Supreme’s Commercial Director for Europe and the Commonwealth. “We also support several other veterans groups and charitable organisations in other areas around the world,” he added.

SSAFA provides practical, emotional and financial support to serving British forces, veterans and their families; supporting more than 50,000 people each year through their network of 7,500 specially trained volunteers across 92 branches. The charity, which has been operating since 1885, provides a range of various services including mentoring, accommodation, disability assistance and support groups. SSAFA is DSEI’s official charity partner.

We also look forward to the Christmas Dinner that Supreme will be providing at one of the SSAFA Norton Homes over the festive season.
