Supreme Group Garners Catering Contract with UN in Côte d’Ivoire

October 28, 2013 – Supreme Group, a global leader in the provision of end to end supply chain solutions in challenging environments around the world, announced last week that the company has been awarded a contract to provide catering services for the United Nations operations in Côte d’Ivoire (UNOCI). The project is contracted for the provision of catering services for UNOCI’s multinational military staff at the regional headquarters in Daloa, Bouake and Abidjan.

A Management Training Program is also now being implemented to increase the number of African Nationals in Supreme’s workforce; a figure that currently stands at 75 per cent across six countries in Africa.

Supreme Group Supports 110 Orphans in Cote d’Ivoire

Supreme Foundation, a registered charitable trust established by the global supply chain solutions provider Supreme Group, is expanding its charitable work within Cote d’Ivoire through supporting the Missionaries of Charity Sisters Abidjan, an orphanage and healthcare facility that cares for homeless and sick patients. The Missionaries of Charity Sisters provides care, accommodation and support to around 110 children and adults, many of whom are suffering from serious illness and disease. Through the financial support of Supreme Foundation, the Abidjan orphanage is provided meals for the patients as well as overall support for the organization for the purchase of essential equipment such as gas water heaters and cookers, kitchen equipment, furniture, a medical disposal furnace, and a fridge-freezer.

Supreme Group Wins DLA-E Contract to FOB Salerno in Afghanistan

October 10, 2013: Reston, VA, United States – Supreme Group, a global leader in the provision of end to end supply chain solutions in challenging environments around the world, has been awarded a contract for the provision of fuel in Afghanistan from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency – Energy (DLA-E). The two-year contract is for the delivery of Aviation Turbine Fuel to Forward Operating Base (FOB) Salerno in Afghanistan, from three different distribution points within the country.

It is the second major DLA-E contract for Supreme this year, as the company was also recently awarded a two-year, USD 550 million contract to deliver Jet Fuel, Diesel and Motor Gasoline to ten U.S. FOBs and one Defense Fuel Supply Point (DFSP) in Afghanistan.

Supreme Group Commences Fuel Operations In Guam

environments around the world, has recently commenced fuel operations in Guam following the decision by the Guam International Airport Authority (GIAA) to award Supreme a five-year contract for the lease, maintenance, operation and management of the airport fuel system at the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport.

The airport fuel system, which currently supports eleven passenger airlines and three cargo airlines, consists of three 10,000 barrel jet fuel storage tanks and one 15,000 gallon tank for AV-gas.

“I am pleased to confirm that Supreme is now fully operational in Guam,” said Andrew Benson, Account Manager – Pacific, Supreme.  “We have hired an excellent team to execute this project, all of whom are local Nationals, and they have ensured a seamless operation from day one. This is an exciting project, as Guam International Airport is one of the busiest regional airports in Asia Pacific, supporting more than 300 flights per week. We look forward to further expanding our operations in this region in the near future,” Benson added.
